2008 Chesapeake Regional Competition

We are a fith year robotics club/team located at Dulaney High School in Timonium Maryland. We participate in the FIRST Robotics competition.  For more information on USFIRST, see the About FIRST page. We are Team 1727, REX. Our name is derived from the Latin word “king;” Team 1727 aspires to be a leader amongst FIRST teams, in our school, and community.

"The reason companies and people in general are willing to help is because of you, the students, who are looking to improve themselves, help others in the process and gain an appreciation of what it takes to be a problem solver using engineering principles and practices. Understanding the process and not giving up until you are successful not only helps you to become a better citizen, it benefits everyone as a whole. Keep up the good work and take pride in your new found professionalism in working with others."
- SAIC

We have about 50 active members ranging in expertise from handyman to programmer. We are very lucky to have many talented members and mentors who helped us excell at the our past regionals, as well as the Championship in Atlanta.
